Apologies for the delay.
Bio below, headshot attached.
Ellen Riotto is the Executive Director of the South Park Business Improvement District.
Prior to this role, Ellen was the Director of Communication & Policy for the BID, where
her creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving resulted in a staunch
dedication to advancing the goals of the BID, raising its public profile, and ensuring
consistent messaging and branding across all media, including the BID'S website, various
social networks, newsletters, and marketing collateral. Ellen uses this approach in her
now role, serving as the connective tissue for all South Park stakeholders, and building
diverse partnerships to ensure that public space in South Park is representative of and
accessible to the entire community.
Ellen is a graduate of the Coro Fellowship program - a nine-month, full-time program in
leadership and public affairs. Through her work with organizations like Sunnylands, LAPD,
and the office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, Ellen sharpened her ability
to analyze systems, build relationships, and collaborate across sectors in order to
problem-solve and succeed in building programming and strengthening partnerships.
Ellen holds a degree in Psychology from NYU.
